From Vision to Reality: Care Safe’s Impactful Journey in Revolutionising Home-Based Healthcare so far
Since our trading inception in August 2023, Health Tech Services Group has embarked on a remarkable journey filled with challenges and triumphs. Our mission to revolutionise healthcare delivery has driven us to achieve close to £500,000 in revenue, establish four thriving locations across the UK, and create 24 full-time jobs, significantly contributing to the local economy.
Our dedication to innovation and community service has been unwavering throughout this rollercoaster ride. We have had the privilege of serving over 1,000 service users, providing them with essential transportation, clinical and personal care, and remote medical monitoring services, all delivered conveniently to their homes. This personalised approach enhances patient care, alleviates the pressure on NHS waiting lists, promotes faster bed rotation, and reduces unnecessary A&E visits.
Looking ahead, we are poised to touch even more lives. Our holistic healthcare model aims to generate £1 million in revenue by August 2025 and impact 5,000 service users. At Health Tech Services Group, we believe that primary and social care are fundamental rights that should be accessible to everyone at home.
Our business model has been recognised nationally and internationally. SEHTA has named us Start-up Company of the Year, and the Lloyds Business Banking Awards has named us Best Small and Micro Company of the Year 2024. We were also finalists at the Cane Silver Economy Awards in France and received the second Best Healthcare Innovative Award from Medi Wales.
We have received many compliance certifications, such as Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and NHS DSPT, and are working closely with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). We have already started acquiring ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, and 42001 to protect all our customers’ data.
We are now regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are registering our services with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW). The Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) has recognised our ambulance and remote diagnostics services, so all our service users can rest assured that they are in safe hands.
We are grateful to our stakeholders, service users, advisors, and mentors for successfully helping us navigate these turbulent times. We understand that our stakeholders may be confused about our four core services, so we have decided to trade under the single brand “Care Safe” because that is what we deliver to our service users.
Our journey is a testament to the power of commitment and innovation in transforming healthcare. As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to delivering world-class health and social care services that make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Join us as we strive to make home-based healthcare the norm, ensuring that quality care is a right, not a privilege. Together, we can create a healthier future for all. Wish you all a happy and prosperous healthy New Year.
