HTS Group was launched in India in 2010 by CEO Samit Biswas, who has over 30+ years of experience in the healthcare industry working with all the major hospitals (like Apollo Hospitals, Aster Medicity, Royal Brompton Hospitals, Manipal Hospitals, Medanta Hospitals, Medica Hospitals, John Hopkins Hospitals, Cleavland Clinics, Singapore General Hospital, Bumrungrad Hospital ) Worldwide and various MNC like GSK, Johnson & Jonson, Smith & Nephew and Medtronic in various positions. While moving patients, tissues and samples from one region to another, it became apparent that there were clear gaps in organizing efficient medical transport. There was a need to improve the coordination and quality of the ‘pick up’, safe transport and ‘drop off’ facility for patients.
By 2014, a dedicated team of professionals had been recruited to run medical transport services. The service has now been extended to provide patient care at home through a number of technological innovations which run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We can now securely access the entire logistics pathway and patients’ movement online and through smartphones.
Over the past three years, HTS Group has also created a successful ambulance service and training program in Kolkata. HTS Group has also become a leader in providing air and road ambulance services within North-East India, where services have previously been lacking. The high-quality internationally recognized training program encompasses all stages of life-saving training such as First Aid, Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, First Responder, and Emergency Medical Technician courses.
Using its global expertise and leveraging more than twenty years of experience, HTS Group established its operations in the UK in 2015, expanding non-emergency patient transport services (NEPTS) and an ‘out-of-hours logistics service’ for pathology samples to the NHS and independent sector. A UK-wide requirement is currently not being provided nationally, 24 hours a day, by any other company in a cost-effective manner. Our model will be able to positively impact the 7-day working week currently being implemented in the NHS GP services. It will also make more effective use of the existing laboratories and pathology reporting teams, consequently dealing with workload and capacity issues that are inherent in all parts of the healthcare sector.
HTS Group also facilitates 24-hour medical transport for governments, corporate organisations and individual clinics. We are based in Essex, London, Lancashire and deliver services as well as accredited training through existing providers. HTS works with ambulance services, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories, ensuring and ensures these services are readily and easily accessible. Our technology allows tracking of ambulances and logistics (eg pathology samples). Our services also include mobile and web-based medical consultations and the nationwide logistics model ensures fast and reliable diagnostic testing.
HTS Group offers technology and support that facilitates round-the-clock, UK-wide access to services for corporate, insurance, or self-paying clients in the following sectors:
